A Cameroonian delegation headed by Datouo Theodore, deputy speaker of the Cameroonian parliament, signed an agreement on the design of a new parliament building with Sinomach in Beijing on May 28.

Gao Jianshe, deputy general manager of Sinomach, extended a warm welcome to the delegation. He said that Sinomach has placed a lot of importance on the project and will spare no effort to provide the best possible designs and services.

Cameroonian people are excited about the new parliament building, according to Datouo Theodore. He expressed confidence that the building would stand out among the country’s urban landscaping projects and would help strengthen the friendship between China and Cameroon.

The new building, located at the site of the old parliament building in Cameroon’s capital of Yaounde, will be designed and built by SIPPR Engineering Group Co, a subsidiary of Sinomach based in Zhengzhou, capital of North China’s Henan province.

The building will cover an area of about 35,000 square meters and have a number of different areas, including a section for offices, a large meeting room, a banquet room, and a security building.
